Province VIII Daughters of the King Report

May 2025

• 2025 Spring Assembly at Episcopal Retreat Center in Oakhurst, CA was a wonderful spiritual time spent together with daughters from Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Hawaii, and Arizona

• Currently working on membership dues that are outstanding that can be collected.  The portion of membership dues that is then given to the Province VIII assembly can be used to assemble and assist in training new leaders to carry on the work of the order to serve and evangelize in our underserved communities throughout our province.  

• I am working on getting updated and current information in the national database for all members in Province VIII.  Several I have discovered have passed away but have not been removed from the membership database.  Those that we found have passed were honored at the 2025 Spring Assembly during the Service of Remembrance.  

• I am working with a young lady training her to be the Province VIII Jr. Daughters Directress.  It is so important to bring young ladies into the order to continue the spreading of God’s Kingdom in the future.  

• We have one Jr. Daughter Chapter in Sebastopol, CA and one Senior Daughters Chapter in Idaho in the formation stage and getting ready to discern the call to be daughters.  They should have members being installed around August 2025.  

• There is a zoom 2025 Fall Assembly in the works for D.O.K. daughters in Province VIII.

• I am planning to attend the Diocesan Assemblies in 2026 to connect with dioceses that haven’t been visited in some time.  It is important to me to keep everyone connected regardless of the large geographical area.
