Black African Ministries (BAM) Report May 2026
BAM is focused on the formation of a summer reading group/book club to read and discuss "Reparations: A Christian Call to Repentance and Repair" by Duke Kwon and Gregory Thompson. This will run from June through August 2026 and will include two virtual discussion meetings for people of color. Our goal is to create an enriching space specifically for Black African and Caribbean members of our community, allowing participants to engage deeply with the book's themes and context.

Province VIII Young Adult and Campus Ministries Prepared by Lindsay Ross-Hunt, Associate Rector and Campus Chaplain, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Bellingham, WA, Diocese of Olympia. Church Periodical Club Report—Aug. 2025
This year, the Church Periodical Club held the Triennium Meeting on June 13 and 15 via Zoom. The keynote speaker was Dr. Renee Escoffery-Torres of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Pittsburgh, PA. Her message encouraged members to remember the history of the Church Periodical Club and to continue supporting the ministry, as it is the only organization providing literature and printed materials for both religious and secular use.
