Aug. 28, 2025 The Executive Council last met at the end of June 2025 at the Maritime Center in Baltimore. This is a summary of some of the actions of the Council. Black African Ministries Province Update 8/28/25 BAM is collaborating with The Office for African Decent Ministries, Western Regional UBE, and the Diocese of Arizona to host an in-person Internalized Oppression training. Summary • Updates to the CPC Manual, Policies and Procedures and Bylaws are completed. We will continue to update as needed. • Training sessions are planned for Diocesan Directors and Provincial Representatives for the Summer of 2025 by CPC President, The Rev. Black African Ministries (BAM) Report
Black African Ministries (BAM) has resumed virtual meetings. We had our first meeting on March 8, 2025. We had a guest speaker, author and activist Gordon Okumu, who shared about his work for social and ecological renewal in East Africa and the inspiring story of his journey from Kenya to the U.S. He and his wife have founded a non-profit, Angels of Africa. Gordon and Robin co-authored “ Crossing Waiyaki Way: A True Story of Poverty, Prayer, and Politics ” in Kenya. BAM is c

Creation Care Network Report
Creation Care Network Report (Rev. 8/13/2025) The Creation Care Network continues meeting monthly on Zoom, alternating member networking with speakers. These Dioceses are regularly represented: San Diego; El Camino Real; California; Northern California; Nevada; Spokane; Olympia; Arizona; and Hawaii.
